BOTANIKA MED - growing health, holistic and self-determined - In 2084, classic health services are hardly accessible for older people. Botanika_Med offers alternatives: patients receive an implanted biosensor that continuously measures vital and blood values - disease patterns and deficiency symptoms are detected in real time. Individualised, medical Bio_Patches then grow in the Grow_Box. These can be applied to the skin, where they release medicines and active substances in optimal concentrations.

After completing her degree in mechanical engineering, Theresa Werner studied industrial design as a second degree at HTW Berlin and combines technology with design in her work. In her projects, she often uses the design methodology of speculative design to address current social problems and conceptualizes solutions and products for polarizing future scenarios.
