The Knot collection consists of double-sided macrame carpets made from pure cotton wicks. In every design I have tied vertical clove hitches. Colors introduced into the designs were obtained thanks to the use of plant dyeing - natural resources came from my immediate environment e.g. cones from spruce trees, inflorescence of staghorn sumac, onion husks. By deciding to implement the projects using the macrame technique, I wanted to show traditional craftsmanship in a completely new light. Large-format carpets are a unique result of several months of handwork. All production waste is reused.
