El bolso Arlecchina es un bolso divertido y juguetón construido en torno a los conceptos de modularidad y residuo cero. Debe su nombre a Arlecchino, un popular personaje del folclore italiano que lleva un traje hecho de muchos parches de colores. El bolso también está hecho de parches, que gracias a unos botones a presión se pueden montar, desmontar, intercambiar y recoger para que puedas cambiarle el estilo y no te aburras nunca de él. Cada módulo puede sustituirse en caso de desperfecto, evitando así el desperdicio, y por sus formas y tamaños puede fabricarse prácticamente con cualquier sobrante o tela reciclada.

Emma Maiorino is an Italian accessories designer strongly committed to sustainability. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Design at IUAV University of Venice, the time off due to the pandemic gave her space to realize how the fashion industry wasn’t shiny at all, nor coherent with her own values. The sudden need to change path brought her to attend a Master in Product Sustainability Management at Milano Fashion Institute. Her main focus of interest, discussed in her master thesis, is the need of an holistic approach to design in order to achieve true circularity.
