Whether competitive sport, hobby, temporary fitness campaign or as a balance to work life - sport plays an increasingly important role in our lives. But which fabrics are in the yoga mat, in the diving mask or in the running outfit? Under what conditions are balls, running shoes, skateboards or golf clubs made? Where was the bike, the badminton racket or the canoe produced? Are the sports equipment in the club or school selected according to sustainable aspects?
When it comes to sports equipment, we always have direct and often intensive physical contact - usually sweating, so these questions become important. In addition, sporting goods are often a status symbol and are rarely cheap.
We are looking for solutions and concepts for sustainable sporting goods that offer answers to the above questions with their design.
All participants benefit from an independent initial assessment of their products in line with the regulations of the Green New Deal (focus on EPR & Green Claims Directive).
