Construction is one of the most resource-intensive sectors of the economy. In addition to high resource extraction and resource scarcity, a disposal emergency is emerging. The focus of this work was on the question of how mineral raw materials from construction and demolition waste can be used to relieve the burden on primary raw materials and landfills. The material 5TONS is a recyclable, mineral solid made of brick dust from masonry demolition and recycled aggregate from mineral construction waste. A dry stacking system for masonry blocks was developed on the basis of the material.
