Astaxanthin 100% made in Austria. The carotenoid astaxanthin is extracted from the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis. Astaxanthin is the strongest, naturally occurring antioxidant and is considered the "diamond" among the radical scavengers. The effects of astaxanthin have been studied in numerous applications. Positive effects have been demonstrated in the treatment of inflammatory diseases, elevated blood sugar levels, high blood pressure, as well as in the prevention of UV damage to the skin and in the area of skeletal muscle regeneration after exercise.
