Fighting climate change by delivering low impact material solutions to the textile industry. We identified banana fiber to be one of the most sustainable fibers to date: less carbon, less water usage, and diverting ag-waste from being burned. Limited by the economics of fiber extraction, we are thinking about this problem differently. What we have set out to do is extract more fiber and refine it to a higher quality so we can compete with not just bast fibers, but cotton and synthetics too. Through our approach, we are working from soil to textile, and working with farmers and farm workers.
