The Set of Matter Varies showcases the simple process of how to recycle cosmetic wax waste. The machines I designed for the process consist of halogen lights, which raises the temperature of the glass chambers where the wax is placed and melted. Once the wax is heated up to 40 Celcius it becomes liquid. Through a funnel in the glass chamber, the melted wax is transferred into a mold, which can be shaped in many ways. Currently, it is used in a mold to create marble-like tiles. The marble pattern happens naturally by working with two different coloured wax. These tiles are 100% waterproof.
