Cralgeo is a laminar bio-based material, with similar qualities to the plastics used in the agricultural industry; composed of alginate and chitosan, both polymers derived from highly renewable Chilean marine waste and resources, capable of being returned to the ecosystem, once its life cycle is over. These resources give the material characteristics of biodegradability, biocompatibility, non-toxicity, bactericidal and fungicidal activity and water resistance. Cralgeo seeks collaboration in the relationship between industry and the ecosystem.
