Green Pre-Selection 2021

The intent was to combine two crafts from the northern state of Jammu Kashmir and the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. ‘Paper Mâché’ from Jammu & Kashmir and ‘Etikoppaka’ lacquer toy form Andhra Pradesh. Body was made using Paper Mâché and the finish was given using Etikoppaka, the cap was made using Teak wood. The outcome can be used for packaging, it gives natural and royal feel and is reusable; cutting down the pollution plastic causes.
