Allianz Zukunft Reifen (AZuR)
For a climate-friendly circular tyre economy
Together with over 80 partners from industry, trade and science, AZuR is committed to a sustainable tyre recycling economy. Tyres should be used for as long as possible through retreading and repair and then recycled in a climate-friendly way. The tyre recycling rate in Germany is over 70 percent. Every year, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of waste are avoided nationwide, valuable raw materials are kept in the cycle, CO2 emissions are reduced and natural resources are conserved. The AZuR model supported by universities is a role model for other industries and waste streams.

Christina Guth ist seit fast 40 Jahren Geschäftsführerin der Full-Service Kommunikationsagentur CGW GmbH in Willich und stets mit Herzblut bei der Sache. 2020 hat Guth den Grundstein der heutigen Allianz Zukunft Reifen (AZuR) gelegt, deren Start als Innovationsforum für Altreifen-Recycling vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung gefördert worden ist. Als AZuR-Netzwerk-Koordinatorin hat Guth es geschafft, Akteure aus allen Segmenten der Reifen-Recyclingbranche in einem Netzwerk zu vereinen, um sich gemeinsam für eine nachhaltige Reifen-Kreislaufwirtschaft in ganz Europa zu engagieren.
