Duobreak reduces empty space in shelf packaging
Duobreak is a corrugated board shelf-ready packaging that significantly increases the volume utilisation rate of retail-ready shelf-ready packaging for bags and pouches. This means that the reduction of the empty space ratio in packaging required by the forthcoming PPWR (EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) can be easily implemented and material and CO2 saved at the same time. Unlike the classic shelf tray, with Duobreak the bags are packed ‘head to toe’, which leads to an improvement in pallet utilisation of over 60%.
