Period products' packaging from nutshells
"In a nutshell" is an ecological packaging concept for period products that combines new materials made from nutshells with circular design. The multifunctional individual packaging shows a new cycle in design, utilizing materials and their properties and reducing waste. After all, how durable does a packaging material need to be? - Until the product is unpacked. In addition to its conventional function, the water-soluble film serves as an antibacterial soap and is free from additives and adhesives.

Mein Name ist Anna Maier und ich bin Produktdesignerin. Im WiSe diesen Jahres schloss ich meinen Bachelor of Arts im Bereich Produktdesign an der Hochschule Hannover ab. Das Konzept ist Teil der Bachelorthesis „In a nutshell“ über ökologisches Material und Design.
Als anstrebende Designerin beschäftige ich mich mit aktuellen Entwicklungen, sozialen und ökologischen Problematiken und der Gestaltung neuer Möglichkeiten. Ziel meiner Arbeit ist es Entwicklung, Funktionalität und Nachhaltigkeit mithilfe von Design zu vereinen.
