The Ergo watering can from recyclable material
Gardening has a hugely positive impact on our environment and our quality of life. However, gardening also presents many hurdles and challenges. The Ergo watering can ‘La Roue’ balances water from A to B and offers several grip positions for watering that is easy on the joints. The watering can shows that ergonomic and environmentally friendly principles can also be taken into account in serial production. Thanks to the injection moulding process, the can is particularly robust and, thanks to the recyclable material (PE-HD, 100% recycled), exceptionally circular.

Christine Beglinger
Christine Beglinger (*1987) hat Industrial Design (BA) in Basel und Kulturvermittlung (MA) in Luzern, Hildesheim und Marseille studiert. Sie arbeitete für Fotografie, Experimentalfilm und Kunst. Dabei fragte sie sich oft, weshalb Alltagsgegenstände so aussehen, wie sie aussehen. Ihr Herz schlägt für Material und Zirkularität. Aktuell forscht sie an der FHNW Basel zu altem Handwerk in den Schweizer Alpen.
