E-waste is growing faster than any other solid waste stream. However, less than 20% is being recycled. The problem is that not many people know that electronics, like mobile phones, contain precious metals such as gold and silver. NoWa stands for No Waste and is the first and only company in the world that creates jewelry from recycled gold and silver, directly extracted from waste phones. Our mission is to show that we don't have to extract gold from the ground at all. The gold is literally up for grabs! With our products we show the value of waste in a positive and tangible way.

When she did a project for Closing the Loop she was inspired to set up NoWa.
