Potential of plastics recycling technologies
Stapelspiel describes a set of play moulds that are suitable for children. The play moulds are made from 100% recycled plastic waste and are the result of a circular concept. The aim is to encourage an increase in recycling processes and to demonstrate the creative potential of plastic waste. The colouring and colour structure of the play forms resulting from the recycling process stands out from conventional recycled materials. Due to the mono-material and the embossing of the recycling code, a complete return to the circular economy is guaranteed.

Jón Martel und Paul-Jonas Schmidt studieren an der Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (HBKsaar) in Saarbrücken Produktdesign und absolvieren im Februar kommenden Jahres 2025 ihren Bachelor. Jón Martel ist 1998 in Saarbrücken geboren, Paul-Jonas Schmidt 1999 in Stuttgart. Das Projekt ist in Zusammenarbeit unter der Betreuung von Moritz Putzier entstanden. Unsere Arbeit bewegt sich von der explorativen Auseinandersetzung mit zukünftigen und nachhaltigen Materialien bis hin zu der Untersuchung von zirkulären Konzepten. Unsere Arbeit zielt auf ökologisch nachhaltiges Wirtschaften und Produzieren ab.
