The Green Marathon is THE new benchmark for sustainability in tire development and the most environmentally friendly bicycle tyre that Schwalbe has developed to date. Not only is it particularly durable, it is also made entirely from fair trade natural rubber and consists of a total of 70% recycled and renewable materials. It is 98% free of harmful substances. The Marathon is the first and only bicycle tyre in the world to close the cycle: Its rubber compound uses 100% carbon black from recycled bicycle tyres. Its variety of sizes makes it suitable for every bike.

Stefan Franken und Felix Jahn
Stefan Franken ist Schwalbe-Produktmanager mit 26 Jahren Branchenerfahrung, der seine Leidenschaft für Fahrräder bereits Anfang der 90er Jahre entdeckte. Als Schlüsselmitglied des Teams war er maßgeblich an der Gestaltung und Entwicklung des Green Marathons beteiligt.
Felix Jahn ist ehemaliger Produktmanager und heute Head of CSR bei Schwalbe. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem die Leitung des Schwalbe Recycling Systems. Felix ist stellvertretender Vorsitzender des Fair Rubber e. V. und eine aktive Stimme in den Nachhaltigkeitsausschüssen der Fahrradindustrie.
