Recyclable, modular, inclusive children's shoe
Vote now

Unico is an inclusive children's shoe that is fully recyclable. It is designed for children who wear ankle-foot orthoses for medical reasons. These children do not need orthopedic shoes, but shoes that are easy to slip on. The shoe can be worn by any child. It consists of only three parts: outsole, insole, and textile. Nothing is glued; everything can be easily disassembled for washing and full recycling. Thanks to digital manufacturing, 3D printing, and 3D knitting, the shoes can be produced anywhere and remain affordable. No long delivery routes and no material waste.
