First foam glass floor slab without concrete

The GLAPOR UMB1 is a foundation and insulation system made from 100% recycled glass, intended for construction projects from single-family homes to supermarkets. It solves the environmental impact of traditional concrete slabs and XPS insulation by being fully circular, dismantlable, and indefinitely reusable, supporting urban mining. This 2-in-1, concrete-free base reduces CO₂ by up to 95% compared to concrete+XPS and is quick and easy to install.

Replacing cement in particular is essential for reducing emissions in construction. The additional dismantlability and recyclability close the material loop and make the floor slabs a genuine alternative to conventional concrete foundations.
