Developed during Integrated Design MA (at IPVC) and in partnership with Amorim Cork, the project is based on the redesign of a surfboard. Taking a more sustainable approach, both from an ecological and productive point of view, we opted for a material design-oriented methodology. By replacing polyurethane foam and fiberglass with natural materials such as expanded cork, flax fiber and wood, the project becomes innovative by applying traditional materials into new productive contexts.
