Shards is a concept for design recycling tiles. The tiles consist of bricks and old glass. Currently there are sixteen fixed "recipes" which differ in haptics and general look. These result depending on the type of brick, the quantity ratio to glass and the temperature curve. These recipes are also available in different colours from grey, brown, ochre and cream to a rich palette of green and turquoise tones. Since each tile is unique, its subtle variations create a lively aesthetic.
