Una solución beneficiosa tanto para la biodiversidad como para la moda
La Biblioteca Textil Bioinvasiva es una solución sostenible que combina plantas invasoras y tecnología de la moda. Al utilizar plantas invasoras como materia prima para fibras y tintes, pretende hacer frente a la pérdida de biodiversidad y promover el trato ético de los animales. El proyecto se centra en conseguir procesos técnicos de producción y teñido con cero residuos, utilizando los textiles desechados para el desarrollo de materiales bioinvasivos auxiliares. Se emplean tecnologías innovadoras como la "implantación", el "fieltrado" y el "hilado" para crear nuevos tejidos, ofreciendo a los diseñadores de moda una biblioteca de opciones sostenibles.
