Si nuestros productos no tienen que durar, deben estar diseñados para deteriorarse. VTBF" utiliza las tecnologías existentes para crear formas fuertes y ligeras para el diseño de muebles. La bioespuma de alta densidad da volumen y estabilidad a una chapa de madera natural de borde duro. En cuanto el mueble deja de ser deseable, se puede compostar en frío, ya que se degrada rápidamente cuando se expone a los elementos. Los productos VTBF pueden fabricarse en moldes, lo que los hace escalables. Esta combinación ofrece muchas aplicaciones interiores asequibles que invitan a los diseñadores y fabricantes a adoptar un enfoque circular en el diseño de muebles.

Thomas Norman
Thomas developed an interest in art and science growing up in Wisbech southeast England. At 18 he moved to study product design at City of Glasgow College where he fell in love with the design process. Towards the end of his studies in Glasgow he had become very comfortable in answering briefs for others but wanted to form his own opinions and learn how to write his own. In 2018 he moved to The Netherland and studied at Design Academy Eindhoven. Where he spent more time focusing on design for innovation, user centred and circular design practices.
