The MiNiMONO Project
Vielseitig einsetzbare Möbel für die ganze Familie
MiNiMONO ist eine Kollektion von langlebigen, multifunktionalen Möbeln aus recyceltem HDPE. Die Möbel erfüllen je nach Benutzer unterschiedliche Zwecke: ein Hocker kann auch ein Pflanzenständer oder ein Beistelltisch sein und passt sich somit an verschiedene Altersgruppen an. Es sind Möbel für Kinder, die Erwachsene so toll finden, dass sie sie immer wieder benutzen wollen! Alle Stücke sind aus einem einzigen Material und sehr einfach zu montieren, sie sind für drinnen und draußen geeignet und können mit fast allen Mitteln gereinigt werden. Sie sollen ein Leben lang halten, können aber auch recycelt oder zur Wiederverwendung an uns zurückgeschickt werden.

We are Julieta and Dirk, a multicultural couple based in Berlin trying to create a better future for – and with - our two children. We all are MiNiMONO.
Our aim is to turn discarded plastic into life-lasting objects adaptable to multiple uses, environments and generations.
We design furniture for families with both functionality and aesthetics in mind because we believe that everyday objects have the power to get people engaged with the circular economy.

We are Julieta and Dirk, a multicultural couple based in Berlin trying to create a better future for – and with - our two children. We all are MiNiMONO.
By contemplating the waste we produce as a household we came to two conclusions: one, kids furniture is only made for the fugitive years of childhood and two, a piece of the plastic we throw out on daily bases won't decompose during our childrens' lifetime. After this realization, we felt compelled to put our past experiences as an architect and furniture maker to work and turn them into creating alternatives for a more sustainable tomorrow.
