Since birch bark is waterproof and airtight, but at the same time flexible and very durable, food has been packed and transported in it for thousands of years. We at sagaan have rediscovered the old technique and established the containers some of which are made of 100% natural materials on the modern market. We enable the processing family businesses in the Taiga to have a stable basis of life. The vessels preserve food like bread, cereals, or tea, they are ideal for zero-waste shopping - and they can be returned to nature (generations!) later.
