Affordable and sustainable housing for students
The PopUp dorms are highly energy-efficient student residences, which were built according to the best sustainability standards. Thanks to a prefabricated wooden construction, they could be erected particularly quickly. The project shows how quickly and cheaply climate-neutral buildings can be erected using the passive house standard. In addition, this pioneering project cuts the otherwise high property costs by temporarily using unused property. If the property is needed for another purpose, the PopUp dorms can simply move on to a new location.
