Currently, the construction and demolition industry is the largest waste producer in the Netherlands, making it one of the most contaminating globally. However, within every building torn down, there is a story, a memory, a moment impregnated into its walls through time. A Waste Epiphany seeks to reduce these negative environmental impacts by bringing back forgotten pasts through uniquely designed pieces and complementing present spaces through the upcycling of two of the most abundant waste materials in the industry: bricks and concrete.
