Seco is a smart food dehydrator & grinder aiming to reduce food waste by creating a further usage possibility for certain fruit and vegetable parts that are usually thrown into garbage. Together with its app, it tracks the status of the food, and gives feedbacks and suggestions for using it before expiration, or for using the peels, flakes and stems and leaves to prepare spice, tea blend, fruit leather, dried food, compost powder etc. Based on a sharing system in a neighbourhood, it also allows giving the surplus food to other people to minimize waste with the help of gamification methods.
