The STUR Skillet is a cast-iron skillet designed for the 21st century: lighter, smoother yet with the same STURdiness as traditional cast iron. The iconic design and the durable material allow a lifetime use, which distinguishes it from products of today's throw-away culture. The skillet's design bridges the gap between the history and present of frying and cooking. The archetype of the skillet, the traditional cast-iron skillet, is transformed and brought into the present. It is produced in Germany from one piece of cast iron and is fully recyclable.
