Troldtekt has developed a Cradle to Cradle certified HWL panel where the binder cement is replaced by the new, CO2-reduced cement type FUTURECEM. The life cycle analysis on which our EPDs are based documents that Troldtekt panels based on FUTURECEM have, throughout the life cycle of the acoustic panels, a CO2 footprint that is 26 percent lower than Troldtekt panels based on grey cement and 38 percent lower than Troldtekt panels based on white cement.  In addition, the production of acoustic panels at Troldtekt uses 97.7 percent renewable energy, which makes the negative CO2 footprint possible.
