Yellow to Blue

Role of green waste as primary bio pigment sources
Vote now

This project is the result of ongoing research focused on extracting biological pigments from agriculture and green waste. Yellow to Blue is a hand-knotted wool rug dyed using agricultural waste from Indigofera tinctoria for blue and Prangos ferulacea for yellow. The green colors emerge from the combination of these pigments. The uneven coloration results in uniquely unpredictable patterns with seemingly random effects that will subtly evolve over time.
