New recycling opportunities for wood chips
The purpose of the project Residue was to investigate the possibility of maximizing the use of natural resources and opening new design possibilities among wood products through material development. By utilizing residual products from industries, the project resulted in a new 100% biological wood fiber based material of chip fiber and bone glue. The material has then been used to create the Residue Chair as a product concept to show the material's properties and moldability.
