用咖啡渣制成的无移植壶
通常，家用盆栽植物在生长过程中需要重新移植，以保持植物的进一步健康生长。这种设计利用了咖啡渣的可降解特性，采用嵌套式设计。当植物根系不断蔓延发展，小花盆的容量达到临界点时，只有嵌套更大一圈的花盆才能达到不移栽的效果，而里面的小花盆在水和植物根系的作用下，会逐渐降解成养分，变成土壤。
