Bal Tash'rit

Emma Batsheva
I’m Emma Batsheva. An artist -designer. Or at least, that’s what I fill-in on forms. As a Designer, I dedicate my practice to merging contemporary techniques with craftsmanship, focusing on durability enhanced by artisanal gestures. As an Artist, I weave materials, systems, and aesthetics both in the physical and digital world. I explore closed-loop material cycles and scalable solutions that prioritize craftsmanship. By collaborating with skilled artisans, I examine each machine, tool, and gesture to generate new methodologies, modern expressions of sustainability and nature inclusive design
