Ein neues Leben für ausrangierte Stadionsitze aus Kunststoff
Ein erschreckend hoher Prozentsatz - 79 % - des weltweiten Kunststoffabfalls ist entweder nicht recycelbar oder wird nicht recycelt, sondern landet auf Mülldeponien oder wird in der natürlichen Umwelt als Abfall entsorgt. Die Kollektion "The Fan Chair" verfolgt dieses umweltfreundliche Ziel und verwendet 300 ehemalige Stadionsitze aus dem isländischen Nationalstadion, indem sie einfach schlanke pulverbeschichtete Metallrahmen hinzufügt und so das Adrenalin und die leuchtenden Farben der Stadien der 80er Jahre in Innenräume bringt.

Tobia Zambotti (Italy-1990) is a Reykjavík-based designer working in the intersection of interior design, product design and conceptual art. After his B.A in Architecture at IUAV (Venice) and M.A in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano (Milan), Tobia moved to Shanghai to Reykjavík (Iceland) where he started to work as a freelance designer. Tobia's projects got an important media coverage from prestigious magazines all over the world such as Frame, Dezeen, Interior Design, Forbes, Elle Decor, Designboom and many more.
