A new life to discarded plastic stadium seats
An alarmingly high percentage —79%— of plastic waste around the world is either not recyclable or recycled, accumulating in landfills or sloughing off in the natural environment as trash. Pursuing this environmentally friendly goal, ‘The Fan Chair’ collection repurposes 300 former stadium seats from the Icelandic national stadium simply adding slender powder-coated metal frames, bringing into indoor settings the adrenaline and the vibrant colors of the stadiums in the 80's.
