Individual 3D-printed building blocks

The most modern way to build houses is to print them. Whereas in traditional construction, shapes that deviate from the cuboid of the building blocks used are built using complex and expensive moulds for concrete casting, with 3D printing these can be realized at no extra cost. Topo is a design, analysis and manufacturing process for additively manufactured solid building blocks. The architect is given complete freedom in designing the shape of each individual brick. This enables the simple, cost-effective and material-saving realization of individual building façades.

Lennard Wilde
Lennard Wilde, geboren 1994 in Hamburg, studierte Produktgestaltung an der Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main. Während seines Studiums setzte er sich bereits ausgiebig mit Material- und Strukturdesign auseinander. Dies mündete in seiner Diplomarbeit Topo, die die Vorteile herkömmlicher Bauverfahren und moderner Fertigungsmethoden miteinander verbindet. Er ist Gründungsmitglied des Start-ups AdditiveCeramics, das es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht hat, innovative Gebrauchskeramiken und Interior Pieces mittels additiver Fertigung zu kreieren.
