PACKIOLI

Envase de jabón de hoja de alcachofa y vaina de guisante

En respuesta al problema de los envases de plástico, PACKIOLI es un envase de jabón resistente al agua que utiliza bioplásticos de hojas de alcachofa y vainas de guisantes, 100% biodegradables y de origen local. PACKIOLI pretende que el envase de residuo cero compita con los envases de plástico existentes en el mercado con sus bordes sellados, al tiempo que satisface las necesidades de higiene, logística y resistencia de las marcas de jabón y también la compatibilidad con métodos de producción como el sellado por calor. Al utilizar la hoja de alcachofa, se aborda el enorme desperdicio de alcachofa, el 80% de cada alcachofa que se tira, especialmente en el oeste de Turquía.

We strongly believe that in order to truly achieve sustainability and circularity, local wastes are an important starting point for working on bio-based materials and demonstrating that these can be turned into everyday products right where we live.

Alara ERTENÜ
Alara Ertenü is a biodesigner, material researcher and 4th year industrial design student based in Izmir, TURKEY. She is interested in biomaterials and how these materials can be turned into value-added products. She believes that to really achieve circularity, local wastes are one of the crucial starting points for working on biomaterials and show people that these materials can turn into every-day products from where we live. Ertenü continues her education in Izmir University of Economics and preparing for the masters in biodesign alongside with establishing her personal brand.
