Proby

Proby - Good for humans and microbes!

More than half of our modern diet harms our gut health, leading to immunity issues. Fermented foods, rich in probiotics, offer a solution, but traditional fermentation is often complex, inconsistent, and inaccessible due to cultural limitations and lack of knowledge. That is why we created Proby, a home fermentation device for health-conscious individuals. With built-in pH, CO2, pressure, and temperature sensors, ensuring reliable fermentation. The app provides live tracking, personalised recipes, and health-based customisation, making gut-friendly nutrition easy, sustainable, and accessible.

This multidisciplinary approach ensured we could address all aspects of product development, from scientific formulation to user-friendly design. With team members from Nigeria, France, China, and South Korea, we also bring diverse perspectives on food culture and consumption habits, focusing our product for the European context.
